Summer is here! I survived another winter in MN (6 years and counting). I can tell you this much….nothing, NOTHING, beats a Minnesota’s summer. The weather for the most part is almost always perfect, theres 10,000 lakes to visit, and I grill almost every night, if not week, for dinner. Food plays a big part in culture. When you think of cultures around the world you associate certain food with each one of them. For example, when you think of Vietnam, pho usually comes to mind. A few weeks ago we went to the Minneapolis’ Farmers Market. We picked up some yummy goodies there. We even found some home baked dog treats for our dog Dobby. Dobby loved the cookies,but $7 a bag for just a few cookies was too steep. I was not going to buy him another bag. C’mon his mom is a food blogger…I got this. That’s how I came up with these soft chewy pumpkin carob chips cookies for him.
